What is Nikah  ?

What is Nikah Halala?

After divorce, husband and wife can marry each other separately and live their lives. But it is often seen that even after divorce, many people want to marry the same person with whom they have married earlier, for this it is mentioned in verse 232 of the Quran, it is as follows-

Following a divorce from her first husband, if a woman remarries and subsequently divorces or is widowed by her second husband, she may remarry her former husband after completing the Iddat period, provided there is mutual trust between them. There can be one, in this there must be a coincidence of divorce from the second husband or his death.

Note:- In this verse, there is no provision for marrying another person in order to remarry the first husband, it is accepted only in circumstances of coincidence.

There is nothing said about Halala in this verse of the Quran that Halala is necessary. But today’s clerics have distorted this verse of Quran and according to them, after divorce, if a woman wants to remarry her husband or her husband wants to remarry her, then that woman should first By marrying someone else, physical relations will have to be established. . , after which the second husband will divorce the woman, only after which the woman can marry the first husband. This practice itself is called Halala (Nikah Halala).
